 Dr. Attiya Inayatullah, Federal Minister for Women's Development, Social
Welfare and Special Education, visited PVPS and ITE on 27th October
2001. She inaugurated the Lady Teachers Hostel and also laid the
foundation stone of the proposed ITE building. She was very impressed
with the quality of teaching and the achievement levels of the children
and trainee teachers. In her address as Chief Guest at the function she
described the Kashmir Education Foundation's projects as the beginning
of a silent revolution in rural areas.
