CHAIRMANS VISIT TO THE UNITED KINGDOM

 

The Kashmir Education Foundation - United Kingdom (KEF-UK) was registered as a charity in the United Kingdom on 5th September 2000 with a separate Board of Trustees, with Mr. Mussadhik Hussain from Bradford as its chairman. The Chairman of KEF, Maj. Gen. (Retd.) M. Rahim Khan, paid a visit to the United Kingdom between 17th May and 11th June 2001. He inaugurated the beautiful designated office of KEF-UK in Bradford, generously donated and equipped by Mr. Mussadhik Hussain. The Chairman also visited London, Luton

 

Chairman with UK Trustees and Team Leaders in UK

Bradford, Leeds, Manchester, Birmingham and Glasgow to attend various functions organized by KEF-UK. He appeared on radio, TV and gave press interviews to raise awareness and support for KEF. The visit was a great success. Ten core groups of volunteers were organized in various cities in support of KEF objectives. The United Kingdom trustees are confident of raising enough funds to set up a second Kashmir Education Foundation school on the rural outskirts of Rawalpindi.
