Pearl Valley Public School is the flagship of the Kashmir Education Foundation and it has fully lived up to our expectations, not only providing modern quality education but also setting high standards in personal conduct and all other areas. Dignitaries who visit the school invariably reflect this in their praise and appreciation. It is a tribute to the dedication and pioneering spirit of our principal, his staff and all the children. Our teachers are the real asset of the school; I thank them all for their commitment to keeping the PVPS flag flying high. We must remember Joan Boswell, the Founder Principal, for starting the school despite her poor health. I am pleased that the school has dedicated the primary school block as the 'Joan Boswell Wing'. We also have Joan Atkinson to thank for setting high standards in the school and starting the Institute of Teacher Education.
