KEF UK was established in conjunction with KEF Pakistan in 1996 out of an altruistic response to identify the causes of poverty and inequality amongst the most vulnerable and marginalized rural communities in Pakistan and AJK.  

Its mission is to provide a sound charitable structural and groups who wish to contribute towards educational development activities and increases the capacity building programmes in rural Pakistan and Azad Kashmir.

Illiteracy and sub-standard elementary education for the rural masses is recognized as the root cause of Pakistan’s major problems. The current social and sectarian tensions and widespread pockets of poverty can often be directly traced back to outmoded and inadequate elementary education.

Education is the most important investment any one can make towards ensuring a brighter future for tomorrows children.
